Indian opening batsman Rohit Sharma has reportedly unfollowed Indian captain Virat Kohli on twitter and instagram. Rohit Sharma, a batting mainstay in ODIs and T20s, was not picked for the current ongoing test series against England.
Rohit Sharma’s poor test form in South Africa played an important factor in the opener not getting picked for the all important five-match test series. Rohit averages over 55 playing at #6 position in tests. The poor display of Indian batting lineup in the ongoing series has seemed to irk him.
This comes after the news of BCCCI announcing that Rohit Sharma will lead the Men in Blue this Asia Cup. BCCI decided to rest talismanic Virat Kohli for the tournament.

Ravi Shashtri – Is Indian head coach the culprit?
According to a few reports, the Indian head coach Ravi Shashtri does not seem to favour the idea of giving Rohit Sharma another chance in tests. The coach did not like BCCI’s idea of resting Kohli which ultimately meant that Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian side.
Apparently, ex Indian players Virender Sehwag and Dileep Vengsarkar are also unhappy over board’s decision to leave out Rohit Sharma’s name.
